Customizable, user-friendly interface

Whether you are an experienced artist or just getting started with a new hobby, Manga Studio EX is worth a shot. Not only because it comes with a customizable and user-friendly interface but also because of the coloring tools and dedicated paint brushes that the application provides you with. You can easily create and share your own brush patterns as well.

The main window of the application is very intuitive and allows you to create a new story or page within seconds. Simply navigate to the File menu and choose the option you are interested in.

After that, a new window with two tabs (Custom page and Page Templates) appears. You are required to set basic info such as standard resolution, color model and page settings then access the created layout.

Lets you handle graphic objects

A panel in the right section will be displayed that contains all the objects you need to work with. Tabs like ‘Sketch’, ‘Draw’, ‘Tone’ and ‘Character’ include useful tools that help you create and adjust your illustration.

When you drag objects inside the current layout, a new window will appear allowing you to change the character settings such as font, character and line spacing or text color, as well as generate a new dialog balloon.

Design original manga sketches

Manga Studio EX offers more flexibility that other applications when creating manga and comics. You are able to design original sketches using your mouse or draw naturally with a Pen Tablet.

The Filter menu allows you to adjust your illustrations by accessing effects such as ‘Mosaic’, ‘Sharpen’ or ‘Posterization’, blur images or text, as well as modify the brightness, contrast, hue and saturation filters.
